From its beginning, People Power has been very dedicated to driving open source technology. Open source designs and implementations can be used as a vehicle to move the Smart Grid market forward by serving as a point of convergence in a space where ideas evolve quickly.
People Power first developed OSIAN, the Open Source IPv6 Automation Network. OSIAN is a fully functional, full IPv6 implementation for system-on-a-chip platforms such as CC430, created to connect the 'things' to the 'Internet of Things'.
Next, People Power created a Developer Portal to connect external developers' devices to People Power's Energy Services Platform. We opened up all API's to the Energy Services Platform, allowing developers to leverage the power of the ESP to connect their devices through the Internet. . All the information you need to get started can be found in the ESP Developer Documentation.
To quickly connect devices to the ESP, we empower developers with the "Internet of Things SDK", or IOT SDK for short. Under a BSD license, the IOT SDK is available for download in our Developer site and on GitHub.
